"There does seem to be a break point, a defining moment, a moment of truth when a person decides that he or she will not settle for less, that less is no longer an option." - Erwin McManus
Less than 100 days remain in 2018.
If you're reading this right now, I do not know who you are. And I'm not sure what your current situation is. But I do know this: there was something you wanted to do in 2018. You had some ideas. You had some intentions. There were some plans.
Have those things happened?
For many of us, some of those things have gotten away from us. We wanted to get around to them, but life happened. We got busy. We didn't have time. We were afraid.
Unfortunately, sometimes we don't take hold of those moments over the course of weeks, months, or years. Tragically, some of us never grab on.
"What haunts me the most are all those moments I've let slip away." - Erwin McManus
Maybe you were supposed to change last Monday. Maybe you're planning to change tomorrow.
My question is this: when are you going to stop letting those moments slip by?
When are you going to put yourself first?
When are you going to take control?
When are you going to draw a line in the sand and say NOW is my moment?
McManus points out that every moment (choice) has atomic potential. It can unleash the capacity that lies dormant inside of you. Whether the moment is mundane or miraculous is totally up to you.
Are you tired of settling for less?
When you choose to take action, you create momentum. If you are tired of letting those moments slip by, I hope this moment is your break point. When you decide you are going to create a new future.
